Refund policy

At Rewear Studio, every piece is curated with care—and we want you to love what you receive. Because we work with one-of-a-kind secondhand inventory, our return policy looks a little different from a typical retailer's. Here's everything you need to know.

Return Eligibility

You have 5 days from your delivery date to initiate a return. To be approved, returned items must:

  • Be shipped back within the 5-day return window
  • Be in the exact same condition as received
  • Still have the original Rewear Studio return tag attached
  • Be free of any signs of wear, washing, alterations, stains, odors (including perfume, smoke, or detergent), makeup, deodorant marks, pet hair, or other damage
  • Include all original accessories or components that came with the item, if applicable

Since we're passing along pieces with their own history, we're extra mindful about preserving each item's condition for its next home—thank you for helping us do that.

Please note: due to the curated secondhand nature of our collection, all sale items, accessories, jewelry, and items marked Final Sale are not eligible for return.

Return Timeline

To keep things moving smoothly, here's the timeline to follow:

  • Submit your return request within 5 days of your delivery date
  • Once your return is approved, ship the item back within 3 business days
  • Send us your tracking number once the item is on its way

Returns shipped outside this timeframe without prior approval may no longer be eligible for store credit, so please reach out as soon as possible if you need a hand.

If we don't receive your return shipment or a valid tracking number within the required timeframe, your return request may be cancelled.

Store Credit

Approved returns are issued as store credit, which you can use toward your next Rewear Studio find. We're not able to offer refunds for change of mind, sizing, or personal preference, so we encourage you to review each listing closely before purchasing (more on that below!).

Refund Exceptions

While most eligible returns receive store credit, we'll happily provide a refund in these specific cases:

  • We sent you the wrong item
  • Your item arrived damaged due to shipping
  • The item has a significant undisclosed flaw or is materially different from its description

If any of these apply, just contact us and we'll make it right.

Exchanges

Because each piece in our shop is one of a kind, we're not able to offer exchanges. Once an item is sold, it's sold—so if it's not quite right, a return for store credit (or a refund, if applicable) is the best path forward.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. The exception: if your return is due to an error on our part (wrong item, shipping damage, or a significant undisclosed flaw), we'll cover the cost of return shipping.

Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Return Inspection

Every returned item is thoroughly inspected upon arrival before store credit is issued. If a returned item doesn't meet the eligibility requirements outlined above, the return may be declined.

Ineligible Returns

If a return is declined because it doesn't meet our return conditions:

  • We'll notify you and let you know the reason for the decision
  • You'll be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to you
  • We'll reach out with available shipping options and payment instructions before sending the item back

Unclaimed Returns

If an ineligible return isn't claimed and return shipping hasn't been paid within 14 days of us reaching out, the item will be considered abandoned. In this case, Rewear Studio reserves the right to donate, recycle, or resell the item without compensation.
